This Privacy Policy describes how Birds, Bugs & Botanicals ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our use of the TikTok API.
Birds, Bugs & Botanicals operates a TikTok account that shares nature photos, facts, and short videos, accompanied by soothing nature soundscapes. Content is published using an internal, automated script that connects to our own TikTok account through TikTok's official API. This tool is used only by us and is not distributed to, or used by, the public.
We do not collect, store, or process any personal information from TikTok users or visitors to our content. Our tool has no public-facing interface, accepts no user input, and does not view, collect, or analyze data about individual TikTok users, their videos, comments, or profiles.
Our tool uses TikTok's API and OAuth solely to authenticate our own account and obtain the minimum permissions needed to publish content to that account. We do not request or receive access to data belonging to other TikTok users.
The only data our tool handles is the authentication credentials needed to post to our own TikTok account. These credentials are stored securely and used exclusively for that purpose. We do not sell, share, rent, or otherwise disclose any data to third parties.
Our content is intended for a general audience, and our tool does not knowingly collect information from children.
